This NEW SH-6030 Lightning also called the C7 Spy Heli is a palm size helicopter equipped with gyroscope for stable flight and a DV Cam The cam is built in, so there is no need to put your own camera on it. Even with the video camera it is balanced well (CG), and hovers right out of the box. You can control it in 3 directions, up & down, forward & backward as well as to turn clockwise and anti-clockwise. The helicopter flies very stable , you can easily control it to land on most surfaces. you can control the camera by the transmitter.
This little heli is a lot of fun,the camera shots are a bit small but really ok for the size of the camera, hovers well out of the box, to me takes a long time to charge for a 6 minute flight.
Often forgotten power requirement is the transmitter itself. In this case the Transmitter requires 6 AA batteries.
You can control it in 3 directions, up & down, forward & backward as well as to turn clockwise and anti-clockwise.
The helicopter flies as stable as a floating object, you can easily control it to land on any spot you want. R/C Distance: 10 meters indoor and outdoor Flight height: about 10 meters Video resolution: 320 x 240
Remote battery: 6*AA batteries Charge time: 40 mins Flinght time: about 5-6 mins Charger:

Would I buy the Sanhuan SH-6030 C7
Considering the price at around $58 plus postage,I think ok what do I really get,but more important is do you want to fly a heli with a Spy Camera? If not go for the Syma S107G
No not knocking the SH-6030 far from it but you have to consider the cost for a heli with a camera-the Syma S107 you can buy for $20, no camera mind you, just fly’s well.
Consider this you also get a with your C7 Heli
Also what you get with the Sanhuan SH-6030 C7
Is the Gyro:The gyro is an essential component in many RC helicopters. Gyros in RC helicopters are most commonly used to control unwanted movement on the yaw axis. When an RC helicopter rotates on its yaw axis, the direction the nose points (the heading) changes.
The yaw gyro’s job is to sense any undesired rotation around the yaw axis (clockwise or counter clockwise rotation when viewed from above), and to automatically correct the orientation of the RC helicopter. Without a yaw gyro, even if the RC helicopter was trimmed out to fly straight initially, it would eventually begin to drift and rotate right or left. Normal maneuvering of the RC helicopter and external forces can result in undesired yaw rotation.
When this occurs, the gyroscope senses this change in yaw and corrects it. This results in stable flight for the RC helicopter and no undesired changes in yaw. With coaxial structure, it provides a more steady flight. The helicopter also features full metal structure that provides high strength upon crash!
In all yes I would buy a Copter VMax Helicopter: Sanhuan SH-6030
If you are not into spy camera videos no would not-Also remember this is like the Syma S107 a infra red remote so hates bright sunlight and digital TV
Having said that I really have fun with this bird, point to mention let the battery cool down between flights before recharging for 15 minutes as battery will not last, also never fly until drops out of the sky as lipo batteries can get to a point of never being able to recharge-Look after the power source.
The best buying options as I see it are listed below for the Copter VMax Helicopter: Sanhuan SH-6030
RcFever
My preferred seller is RcFeveras never had a problem with fakes all been genuine, depending where you live Amazon will not post to you- RcFever will post to most parts of the world.

How long do you get in flight using the camera all the time?
@Sandy I do not push flights until heli drops from the sky as a lipo battery can screw it-generally get a good 6 minutes, more when camera not on-hope that helps
I bought a new Balance Bar, but I’m having trouble taking off the old one. Web searches for instructions on how to do this have come up empty. Any ideas as to were I could find a repair guide?
This is repair of a Syma S107 main shaft-different but might give you a better idea-click here
Thanks for the quick response. I was able to replace the Balance Bar, it turns out the pin connecting the balance bar to the main shaft doesn’t go straight through.
It wasn’t until I cut away the old Balance Bar that I was able to remove the pins from either side of the main shaft.
Thank you
My pleasure Vaugnus- great you have fixed the problem. It is a learning curve how to fix helis and rc planes, the more one learns and tries to fix the more exciting this hobby gets-Good on you!!
Hi i have a c7 my boys broke it the pins on the balance bar are ment to be pulled out either side but i used a pair of side cutters to gently persuade the pins out
recieved a SH-6030 today, missing the MANUAL, have not been able to contact anyone at RC-FEVER. Have no itea how to use this unit. No idea where to look or to call, for help!!!! DAVE
@Dave The manual is some times attached under the connection in box under the heli-RcFever will not be available until 29th January as Chinese New Year.I will see if I can find one to download.Bought so many helis from Rcfever they never missed out on manual real odd.Talk soon
I will never buy one of those helicopters anymore and I won’t and CAN’T recommend them to anyone.
I bought one and I tried it out. I used it for about 30 seconds and the balance bar broke. Then I went back to the store where I got it from and they didn’t even give me a new one. I had to buy a whole repair kit for $25. I changed the balance bar and tried it out again. a few seconds later it broke again. So I didn’t want to go back to the store to get another repair kit for $25 so I Emailed the SH Company and explained them my problem. They send me a repair kit for free. I replaced the balance bar and after flying for a minute it broke again. SO I bought 2 balance bars from eBay for $7 and replaced the balance bar. Now I’m using my helicopter but sometimes it doesn’t listen to me lol. It keeps flying even if I don’t do anything with the controller. And it just flies in one direction. I don’t know if its the heli or whatever is wrong there but its just crap! Spend $200 for it and it’s not worth any cent! The bad thing is that I can’t even return it, because the store doesn’t accept returns.
That is sad to hear, balance bars break on many of my different helis when I have crashed them-Did you at anytime have bad crashes?
Hi, I bought one, but unfortunally I broke the T Blade at the inner top after a hard fall… frustrating. Everything else works perfectly. The thing is, i´m having a hard time finding spare parts here in Rio de Janeiro Brasil. Can you tell me if there is another model with a compatible T Blade?
I know that this is silly, but I cannot find the on/off switch on the helicopter. The instruction book points at a spot, and the words “on” and “”off” are written underneath it, but nothing appears to move or act as a switch. Help! I can’t set the power switch to the off position and it does not seem to be taking a charge…
Thanks
I know this is silly, but I can’t find the helicopter’s power switch. I see where it says “on” and “off” but I can’t find anything to move there, just the receptacle for the charging cord. Help!
i have a Sanhuan SH 6030 Lightning 3CH RC Helicopter RTF and i replaced the balancing bar and after using the adjustments the heli just spins around and there is no lift at all…. any idea???
Check to see if main shaft bent
